The no-nonsense Lotus Exige Cup 260 squeezes as much as 192kW/236Nm out of its mid-mounted, transverse 1.8-litre supercharged four-cylinder engine and, with a kerb weight of just 890kg due to plentiful use of carbon fibre, is able to reach 100km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The track-focussed Exige Cup 260 is configured to take a roll cage and comes with cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes front and rear, maximum-thrust launch control and a light weight six-speed gearbox. The driver sits on a carbon fibre seat in a sparsely trimmed interior although air-conditioning is standard.
