Gracious to look at, sumptuous and very adept on the road, the big Jag sedans and wagons cover all bases with a wide choice of engines and plenty of luxury and new-age technology. The range starts with the 2.0-litre 147kW/320Nm 20t turbo-petrol, followed by the 20d Ingenium turbo-diesel pumping out 132kW/430Nm and providing 4.3L/100km economy. Then there's the 177kW/340Nm 25t, the torquey 221kW/700Nm 30d turbo-diesel V6 and two versions of the supercharged 35t 3.0-litre petrol V6, producing 250kW/450Nm in the Portfolio and R-Sport models, and 280kW/450Nm in the potent XF S.
