Pros
- Compelling value for money – it’s a lot of car per dollar, and gives PHEV tech for an ICE price
- Ride comfort is pretty good for such a heavy bus, even on the base FWD variant
- As a PHEV it’s got long legs, with at least 103km of EV range per the factory claim
Cons
- It would be nice to see a few more USB outlets in the rear cabin
- At 2.5 tonnes empty, the Sealion 8 is an incredibly heavy beast
- Towing capacity limited to just 1800kg for the FWD, 2000kg for the AWD
