F48 sDrive18i Wagon 5dr D-CT 7sp 550kg 1.5T Based on the same platform as the MINI, BMW's X1 SUV can be had as either an S-Drive front-driver, or as an xDrive AWD. It rivals the likes of Audi Q3 and Benz GLA-Class and comes with a choice of four engines: The 103kW/220Nm 1.5-litre 18i three-cylinder, the 110kW/330Nm 2.0-litre 18d four-cylinder, the 141kW/280Nm 20i four-cylinder and the AWD 170kW/350Nm 2.0-litre 25i four-cylinder. The interior is very BMW, with all the usual driver-friendly functions, and there's plenty of passenger space as well as a very handy 505-litre boot that opens up to 1550 litres with the 40:20:40 rear-seat backrest folded.
