Come 2017, Jaguar will wheel out a minimally revised version of its F-TYPE coupe featuring front-end changes to the grille and lower apron/air intake, as well as the tail lights. That's about it.
These photos snapped on German roads and in situ at the Nurburgring don't really tell us much, but it's believed the spruced-up front end (described by some as "heavily revised") will add adaptive LED headlights as per the latest Range Rover Evoque. Although it appears the lights will be contained behind the same plastic lenses, the underlying structure of the lights themselves looks to be all-new.
The camouflage makes it impossible to determine the extent of re-sculpting of the intake area but it appears the outer vents, as well as the lower apron, will be changed, as much to provide easy identification of the upgrade as anything practical.
The photographers also noted that the test mule, as evidenced by the dual central exhaust outlets, was running the supercharged V6 engine, not the 5.0-litre V8. No rumours are circulating yet as to whether the 2017 F-TYPE will feature any mechanical upgrades.
While there's nothing certain for the moment, the revised Jaguar F-TYPE should see the first light of day at the next Geneva motor show in March 2017.
