Skoda has expanded its ScoutLine range by creating a tougher more off-road friendly version of the Fabia.
Proudly showing off a raised ride height and plenty of added visual toughness thanks to matt-black plastic body cladding and a stainless steel skid plate and the choice of 16- or 17-inch alloys, the little wagon looks like it’s ready to take on the Great Outdoors.
Unfortunately its tough looks are only skin-deep. The ScoutLine models make do with just front-wheel drive on all models.
Available, in Europe, with the 56kW 1.0-litre 66kW or 81kW version of the 1.2-litre petrol.
On the diesel side there’s a 66kW or 82kW version of the 1.4-litre diesel.
Said to go on sale early 2016 it’s not known when, or if, we’ll get the new Fabia Combi derivative.
