SHANGHAI MOTOR SHOW: Suzuki gets authentic

Suzuki AUTHETICS sedan concept to debut in China in two weeks
Suzuki has issued the first teaser image of an all-new small sedan concept that will make its world premiere at China’s Shanghai motor show on April 20.
A Toyota Corolla-sized four-door designed for China’s most popular vehicle segment, the curiously named AUTHENTICS concept presents a coupe-like roofline, prominent shoulder line, slender glass area and huge chromed outboard exhausts.
No further details have been provided, although Suzuki says the car’s ‘Sporty x Elegant’ design theme is accentuated by a long wheelbase and “an unconstrained form with its overall height kept low”.
Watch this space for more details from the Shanghai show in a little over week's time.
