Toyota has previewed its all-new fourth generation Toyota Kluger ahead of its launch at the New York motor show next week.
Teaming up with an augmented reality artist, the Japanese car-maker teased the 2020 Toyota Kluger using hanging 2D images that, if you look directly at it, is said to provide a 3D picture of the car Toyota will reveal.
The current Toyota Kluger, known as the Highlander in the US, first went on sale back on 2013 so is well overdue for a replacement.
No details have yet been released on the new car, but it appears from our first glimpse it will blend a more upright grille with sleeker and curvier styling.
It's also thought the new SUV will switch to the car-maker's latest TNGA platform that underpins the latest Camry and Corolla.
There's also no-word on what powertrains the next Kluger will come with but it's likely the current car's thirsty 218kW 3.5-litre V6 will be pensioned off for something more frugal.
Stay tuned as Toyota is expected to release more teases of the new Kluger as it builds towards the launch of the popular SUV next week in New York.
