Honda has announced a new limited-edition version of the CR-V SUV.
The Honda CR-V +Sport hits Honda dealerships today, priced from $32,490 plus on-road costs (or $35,490 drive away). It will be available until sold out.
Positioned by Honda as “value for money” purchase, the +Sport comes in $1900 dearer than the regular CR-V VTI on which it is based while adding $4100 worth of additional features, the manufacturer says.

The additional equipment comprises 18-inch alloy wheels, Honda’s Lane Watch feature, front and rear parking sensors, rear tinted windows, black sport grille and requisite +Sport badging.
That comes on top of the VTI’s regular suite: keyless entry, three-mode reversing camera and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability.
Under the bonnet resides the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol sending drive to the front wheels via a CVT transmission. Power is rated at 140kW while torque is said to be 240Nm.

In a similar vein, Honda has added a Jazz +Sport to its Australian line-up. Like the CR-V, the limited-edition builds on the regular Jazz (in this case the mid-range VTi-S), adding $1600 worth of additional standard equipment for a $600 outlay at the dealership.
The list price for the Jazz +Sport is $20,950 plus on-road costs. Standard equipment extends to 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and +Sport badging, alongside satellite navigation, reversing camera, remote keyless entry and LED projector headlights.
As with the CR-V spin-off, the Honda Jazz +Sport goes unchanged under the bonnet, powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine.
Both models are supported by Honda’s five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty.
