Volkswagen has revealed the first Caddy Alltrack ahead of its global debut at this week's Frankfurt motor show, but it's unlikely to be sold in Australia.
Unlike the Passat Alltrack, which arrives Down Under next year, and the Golf Alltrack, which launches locally this month, Volkswagen Group Australia says it has "no plans at this stage" for the Caddy Alltrack.
And unlike those passenger wagon-based crossovers, the replacement for Volkswagen's CrossCaddy doesn't get a raised ride height and 4MOTION all-wheel drive is an option, not standard.
Like its predecessor, the Caddy Alltrack is offered in both passenger wagon and commercial panel van configurations. It gets unique 17-inch 'Quito' alloy wheels framed by black cladding around the wheel-arches. The undersides of the sills and bumpers also feature black parts.
Silver mirrors, roof rails and Alltrack logos mark the vehicle's exterior, while the interior gets unique 7Summits seat covers along with a leather steering wheel, gear shifter and handbrake.
