Extra value packed into Toyota Camry Atara R
Limited edition model based on Altise scores $3000 worth of Atara featuresToyota is releasing 2500 units of a new value-added variant based on its Camry Altise.
Priced at $31,820, the Camry Atara R incorporates some Atara features in the Altise grade, but undercuts the Camry Atara S by $1670. Toyota has placed a value of $3000 on the extra kit fitted to the Camry Atara R, including a three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls, a 6.1-inch infotainment display with reversing camera and a dual exhaust diffuser for a 2kW power boost.
Additionally, the Camry Atara R features sports bumper, Atara grille and front fog lights, and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels rather than the 16-inch wheels of the Camry Altise.
Buyers can specify the car in a choice of colours including Diamond White, Silver Pearl, Graphite, Eclipse Black, Wildfire, Magnetic Bronze, and Reflex Blue.
Production of the Camry Atara R is set to conclude in December.
