There are thousands of aftermarket accessory and customisation experts in the Australian 4WD market, but Automotive Solutions Group Limited (or ASGL) says it offers a complete solution for owners seeking to modify and improve their vehicle.
As an example, take this demo prototype recently rolled out by ASGL, which is based upon a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series.
ASGL has kitted the vehicle out from tip to tail, the 4WD now boasting a Uneek 4x4 bullbar with Baja Designs spot lights, underbody tool boxes, a custom alloy canopy and more.
Through drawing on its eight subsidiary companies, ASGL says it can deliver a complete in-house solution for 4WD owners. To that end, the Land Cruiser also sports a GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) upgrade and a 650mm chassis extension, along with engine remapping courtesy of ASGL subsidiary Roo System, and Boab drawers – the latter from its WA business. Both the canopy and the custom storage were handled by ASG 4x4.
According to ASGL's Managing Director and CEO, Tanya Mason, the company is ultimately seeking to make life easier for 4WD owners who want more from their rigs.
"What we are offering is an end-to-end solution to consumers looking to make customised modifications to their vehicles," she said.
"We want this prototype to show that we're not just catering to traditional four-wheel drive enthusiasts who are modifying or upgrading their vehicles, but we are also seeing lots of city drivers making upgrades to 4WDs and SUVs as well.
"We believe our high-quality and complete offerings and solutions stand us apart from anything that's in the Australian market."
ASGL oversees a national network of 250 dealers and 11 company facilities.
