E2 MY26 GTX Wagon 5dr Auto 1sp 4MOTION 250kW Volkswagen's ID.4 crossover SUV touched down in Australian showrooms at the beginning of 2024 as the company's first electric vehicle. Available in Pro form only, the five-door, five-seat ID.4 wagon uses a single 210kW/545Nm electric motor that drives the rear wheels and claims a 544km range. The plush interior has powered, heated and massaging Alcantara-clad seats for both front passengers and claims a capacious load capacity stretching from 543 litres with all seats in place to 1575 litres when the back row is folded. Volkswagen's five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty applies, with two years of roadside assist and regular service intervals set at two years or 30,000km.
