More than six metres long, 2.6 metres-plus wide and standing better than two metres tall, the massive RAM 2500 comes in four variants, all powered by an inline six-cylinder turbo-diesel displacing 6.7-litres and producing 276kW with a mighty 1152Nm of torque. The engine drives through a six-speed auto transmission to a dual-range 4x4 driveline. The towing capacity, equalled by the RAM 1500, is one tonne better than popular workhorse utes at 4500kg. The payload, given the RAM's massive size, is an unexpected 885kg.
