This is the first EV where range anxiety simply doesn't exist. I regularly get 620km+ from a 100% charge around town, though my daily routine runs 80% to 20% — it's just never an issue.
Perth to Dunsborough on a full charge and I arrive with around 40% remaining. There's a fast charger at Coles in Dunsborough if needed, and this car charges as fast as anything available in WA — though honestly I've just been plugging in at home overnight all week.
These Macans drive like a normal car — well, as normal as a Porsche gets. None of that aggressive, lurchy regen that makes EVs feel unnatural. Porsche designed the RWD to drive like a rear-wheel drive 911. Cornering, making it tail-happy — you can absolutely do that.
The car is as new and in immaculate condition. In the world we're living in, never visiting a fuel bowser again is a genuinely wonderful thing. I run solar and three Powerwalls at home so this car has literally cost me nothing to run since I bought it. Not a cent in fuel, not a cent in charging. In the current environment that's not a small thing.
all the usual things like car mats, two keys, Porsche key rings, emergency charging cable and I will even throw in the wicked Porsche coffee cup (unused)
Sports Chrono Package, launch control, Offroad-Normal-Sports-SportsPlus driving modes, enormous, intelligent heads up display... But where it really shines is its handling and cornering, it's like a hot hatch.
Selling only to upgrade to the Cayenne S EV when it arrives later this year as I would like the 3.5T towing from an EV. Would love this to go to an enthusiast who'll appreciate it.
It is still has new car warranty for more than two years I believe, this is a no regret no stress car that doesnt need servicing for another 18 months and even then its just check the brakes and tire condition.
