YB MY24 PHEV Aspire Wagon 5dr Auto 1sp AWD 510kg 2.4i/60kW Hybrid Extensively facelifted in 2020 following its 2018 launch, Mitsubishi's Eclipse Cross, after years playing a constant second-fiddle to its ASX sibling, now virtually matches it for sales. It also virtually matches the ASX for size - a bit higher and longer but actually narrower. Substantially newer and more expensive, its chassis fundamentals - MacPherson strut front-end, multi-link rear - are the same, although It drives with more elan. CVT transmissions are standard and there's an AWD plug-in hybrid option to the front-drive 1.5-litre turbo. A spacious cabin and luggage capacities measuring from 405 to 1149 litres are SUV-appropriate, as are safety and equipment levels.
