The G87 BMW M2 may be the last of a generation of cars from BMW featuring their classic straight six engine format with twin turbos. (S58 engine) Officially, BMW states a power output of 460hp, but it is clear that this figure is completely under quoted by the manufacturer.
This is distinctive and bold drivers car in a very practical package. I have enjoyed it immensely and was attracted to its high power output, manual transmission, rear wheel drive, LSD, fantastic chassis/suspension system and big brakes that never fade.
A classic recipe for exciting driving on flowing and twisty roads, while also great for the work commute and grocery getting!
The design of this M2 harks back to the original M3 with its boxed out and flared wheel guards. Where current M3/M4s have become very large, the M2 feels like the ideal size for a sporty coupe in a contemporary package.
