Our 2023 BMW iX3 G08 M Sport–spec (updated post May 2023 model) has been a fantastic family car and a great introduction to electric motoring. It’s smooth, quiet, comfortable and genuinely feels like a BMW with the bonus of an electric drivetrain. We’ve cared for it meticulously and it presents in excellent condition.
From new it’s had a professional ceramic coating, so the paint still has a deep gloss and is easy to keep clean. The windows are tinted and the sunroof has a clear UV film to protect the interior and keep the cabin cool.
It has a full BMW service history, and has only travelled about 29,343 km.
One of the best perks is the free fast‑charging on Chargefox that comes with the car until December 2028 (subject to the existing subscription). This has made running costs very low and long drives stress‑free, as we can plug in at participating Chargefox stations and top up quickly.
This is the updated G08 with M Sport Pro–equivalent features, so it has the later facelift look, sharper grille and lighting, plus larger 20‑inch alloys that give it a planted, sporty stance. The enhanced tech package includes head up display, premium Harmon Kardon audio, phone key access and advanced parking functions.
Safety and comfort have been big reasons we’ve loved this car: lane departure warning, forward‑collision alert, high‑speed crash avoidance with braking, front and rear parking sensors, rear‑view camera, ABS and multiple airbags. Inside, there’s multi‑zone climate control, heated front seats, electric sunroof, adaptive cruise control, GPS navigation, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, voice recognition, head‑up display, keyless start and a powered tailgate with plenty of cargo space.
We’re only selling because the car is too heavy for the stacker at our new apartment building. If we had a regular parking spot, we’d be keeping it. If you’re looking for a well‑cared‑for, low‑kilometre, premium electric SUV with free fast‑charging locked in until the end of 2028, our iX3 is ready for its next home.
