The Chinese-built 2022 BMW iX3 offers a 460km electric range and its 74kWh battery can be charged to 80 per cent in as little as 32 minutes using a 150kW fast-charger. A single, rear-mounted 210kW/400Nm electric motor drives the back wheels only and delivers a claimed 6.8sec 0-100km/h acceleration. Standard equipment includes an M Sport package, 20-inch alloy wheels, head-up display, adaptive LED headlights, adaptive suspension, leather upholstery, automatic tailgate and wireless smartphone charging.
