Bigger, more refined and packed with safety tech, the front-drive Focus five-door hatch range includes-after discontinuation of the wagon version in mid 2020 - Trend, ST-Line, Titanium, Active 'crossover' and hot ST variants. Great interior space, a boot capable of opening up to 1345 litres and generous standard equipment make the Ford Focus a highly functional small car. Below the manual/auto ST's potent 206kW/420Nm 2.3-litre is Ford's 134kW/240Nm 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo, mated to an efficient, quick-shifting eight-speed auto gearbox. Don't get too excited though: the Ford Focus and Fiesta hatchbacks, tragically, are about to get the chop in Australia.
