Beat the fuel price squeeze with Audi's biggest secret, the mild hybrid 2022 Audi A3 hatch. Combining a frugal but punchy 1.5 L engine with a small electric motor and battery, the A3 35 TFSI uses 5.6L of petrol per 100km. That's a proven number with the tachometer set for the last 60,000km, so a 40L full tank will take you about 980km.
This Audi comes with all the technology and quality features you would expect from a German made car. It has built in Google maps, bluetooth, has a built in SIM, has had one owner, using it for commuting to work, and has only travelled 103,000 km, almost all on highways. It is glossy black, with dark grey durable leather throughout inside - it's not perforated, so spills wipe right off it.

The car has a full service history at Gold Coast Audi, and was last serviced 2 weeks ago. It has Continental tyres all around, just aligned and balanced. I'm selling it because my lease is up and the ATO says I have to - it's a great car - amazingly economical, classy and really nice to drive. It has some minor chips and scratches, and a tiny ding in the right front guard, and has not been resprayed or otherwise "tidied up".

Powerplants include a new 35 TFSI 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid producing 110kW/250Nm, an AWD 40 TFSI quattro 2.0-litre that pumps out 140kW/320Nm and a 228kW/400Nm 2.0-litre in the quattro S3. All drive through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Every A3 comes with Audi's 10.25-inch driver display which can recognise handwriting, verbal commands and delivers greater online connectivity, with live fuel prices, traffic, weather conditions, parking info and Google satellite map overlay. Seven airbags, autonomous emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection, side assist, lane assist and park assist are standard.
