AXUH78R Grande Wagon 7st 5dr CVT 6sp eFour 2.5i/88kW Hybrid In its fourth-generation, Toyota's Kluger large SUV offers a choice between conventional and hybrid petrol drivetrains and front-drive or AWD. Riding on new, multi-link suspension, it's also bigger, with a 30mm increase in length resulting in improved passenger and cargo space. There are two AWD systems: The "e-Four" which uses an electric motor at the back wheels when extra traction is needed or, in conventional-engine versions, a mechanical system that also incorporates torque-vectoring for the rear wheels. The hybrid drivetrain combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with two motor generators " one up front and one rear-mounted " generating a combined output of 184kW. The conventional 3.5-litre V6-engine is unchanged at 218kW/350Nm.
