JB MY21 Intens Hatchback 5dr EDC 7sp 1.3T Renault's second-generation Clio-based Captur SUV is bigger, safer and more techno-savvy but it's pricier than before too. Available in Life, Zen and top spec Intens levels, the Captur continues with the same 113kW/270Nm 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine, driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual;-clutch gearbox. 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and a 7.0-inch infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The Captur is safer too, with autonomous emergency braking (including pedestrian and cyclist detection), lane departure warning, lane keep assist and traffic sign recognition universally standard. The new Captur offers a handy 422-litre boot that expands to a seats-folded 1275 litres and claims 6.6L/100km fuel consumption.
