With a higher maximum torque of 1152Nm, its 276kW 6.7-litre inline six-cylinder Cummins turbo-diesel engine makes light of the task. The engine drives through a six-speed auto gearbox to a dual-range 4x4 driveline. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with active braking, trailer sway control and lane departure warning are standard. It's a big step up to the cab, but once in place passengers are well cared for with leather seats, power-adjusted up front, and a 12-inch touch-screen that is hooked up to not one, but two rear-view cameras.
