LB MY22 LS Hatchback 5dr CVT 1sp 1.2i Mitsubishi's micro-class contender, the five-door, five-seat Mirage hatch, was refreshed in early 2021 with the company's new "Dynamic Shield" nose, a revised rear end, autonomous emergency braking, and in-cabin improvements such as a new 7.0-inch touch-screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Bluetooth. There are two spec levels: ES and LS, the latter adds lane-departure warning, single-zone climate-control and cruise control. The engine remains the same 57kW/100Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder already familiar in the pre-update model and there's either a CVT auto or a five-speed manual gearbox, both driving the front wheels. The tiny Mitsubishi offers surprising interior space and a reasonable boot that can be extended by lowering the split-fold rear seat.
