AZS1 MY21 Essence Wagon 5dr Reduction Gear 1sp 105.0kW (7yr Warranty) The all-electric version of MG's ZS SUV launched towards the end of 2020. Based on the conventionally-driven MG ZS, the Chinese small-class silent-runner is more a range variant than a stand-alone EV. Using a 105kW/353Nm electric motor driving just the front wheels and fed by a 4.5kWh battery, the Chinese EV is claimed to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 8.2sec with an official range, determined by the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure), of 263km. MG says the ZS EV can be charged via a normal home wall socket in about seven hours, or by an 85kW fast-charger taking the battery to 85 per cent in 45 minutes.
