FY MY22 TDI Wagon 5dr Tiptronic 8sp quattro 3.0DT Audi's mid-size SQ5 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel Sportback heads the Q5 range. Shared with the 50 TDI S Line wagon and punching out 251kW/700Nm, the V6 drives through an eight-speed Tiptronic auto. Zero to 100km/h acceleration times are quoted at 5.1sec, along with 7.0L/100km fuel economy " thanks in part to a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The SQ5 gets bigger brakes and an uprated suspension over regular Q5s, while a self-locking centre differential selectively shuffles the front-to-rear power split. To the wireless phone charging, dual Bluetooth connectivity, 'virtual cockpit' digital instrument cluster and Audi's connect plus functionality, the SQ5 TDI adds LED matrix headlights, an electric tailgate, head-up display and a panoramic sunroof.
