Taking on the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Audi A8 offers a single 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine: The 50 TDI V6 produces a solid 210kW/600Nm and drives all four wheels through an eight-speed auto gearbox. Available features include Level three autonomous driving, HD matrix LED headlights, all-wheel steering, electric active body control and predictive air suspension with damper control, active roll stabilisation and dynamic height adjustment. Complete with a foot-massage function and reclining back seats, the A8 is as much about rear-seat passengers as it is front occupants.
