NGX10R GXL Wagon 5dr S-CVT 7sp 2WD 1.2T Toyota's contender in the busy light SUV marketplace, the CH-R, aims to suit the buyer demographic with stand-out styling, an edgy interior and easy driving manners underscored by peppy performance and excellent fuel economy. Introduced in 2016, the C-HR range spreads from an 85kW/185Nm 1.2-litre four-cylinder in GXL and Koba to the top-spec GR Sport which shares the 90kW/142Nm 1.8-litre front-drive hybrid also available in the Koba. CVT transmission is standard and front-drive or AWD are optional in all but the hybrid. All C-HRs get adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, self-dipping headlights, blind spot monitoring and lane departure alert with steering assist.
