The RAM 1500 range spreads from Express through up-spec Laramie to the flagship Warlock model, mostly using a 291kW/556Nm normally-aspirated 5.7-litre petrol V8, but supplemented by a 179kW/569Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel " all driving through an eight-speed auto gearbox to on-demand, dual-range 4x4. Towing capacity is a mighty 4.5 tonnes. From sparse fitout at base level, things become more generous heading upwards where sat-nav, climate-control, power front seats, leather trim and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto begin to appear.
