Updated at the beginning of 2020, CX-9s, depending on variant, now get a larger infotainment screen, hands-free, kick-gesture tailgate operation, improved adaptive LED headlights and the addition of night-time pedestrian detection to the autonomous emergency braking system. CX-9s also get Mazda's G-Vectoring control for better cornering and straight-line stability, as well as an improved AWD system.
