DL2SAA G15 GT Sedan 4dr SKYACTIV-Drive 6sp 1.5i The perky Mazda2 light car now comprises Pure hatchback and sedan models as entry-level (there's no longer a Genki variant), the range progressing through the hatchback-only Evolve to the GT hatchback and sedan variants. The sole powerplant is a revised 1.5-litre four-cylinder which now produces 82kW/144Nm (previously 79kW/139Nm), and all versions bar the entry-level six-speed manual Pure variant come with Mazda's six-speed auto gearbox. Auto versions quote fuel economy at 5.3L/100km. The handy-size Mazda2 also gets improved seats and suspension, plus styling updates front, rear and inside. Safety equipment includes autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist and pedestrian detection.
