Taking on a more Euro styling approach in the latest version, and adding a blistering N Performance model into the ranks has given it even more credibility. Today's i30 comes with a choice of four engines: a 120kW/203Nm 2.0-litre petrol, a 150kW/265Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol, a 100kW/300Nm 1.6-litre turbo-diesel and, in potent N Performance hatchback and fastback versions, a rousing 202kW/353Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol. There are three transmissions: six-speed manual and auto, and a seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual.
