Overview
MY21 VTi-S Hatchback 5dr CVT 1sp 1.8i Honda's reborn HR-V is performing strongly in the steadily-growing small SUV segment currently ruled by Hyundai's Kona and is currently the company's second best seller behind the CR-V mid-sizer. The HR-V range comprises VTi, VTi-S, sporty RS (with 18-inch alloys) and top-shelf VTi-LX versions, all front-drive, all CVT and all using Honda's 105kW/172Nm 1.8-litre aspirated powerplant. The Jazz-based mini SUV is pretty accommodating for both passengers and luggage, offers a good level of equipment with standard Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and, from VTi-S level, autonomous emergency braking. Climate control, cruise control, sat-nav, 16-inch alloy wheels and rearview camera are universal, while VTi-LX adds LED headlights and a power driver's seat.
