Looking for a V8 with proper grunt and real Aussie practicality? My 2020 Chrysler 300 SRT Core in Ocean Blue is honest, sorted, and ready to go to the right owner.
The history ~~
This car started life as a NSW Highway Patrol vehicle. I bought it in April ’24 as the 2nd owner. The original 6.4L HEMI let go in August ’25, and I had a full engine swap done by WM Euro Automotive using a low-km donor engine pulled from a 2021 SRT Core, sourced through a repair workshop in Smithfield. The replacement engine has 86,000 km on it now. Chassis is on 167,000 km.
Full paperwork for the engine swap, plus other recent servicing, is available to view at inspection. Nothing hidden, ask me anything.
Completely stock since I’ve owned it. No tunes, no aftermarket parts, no surprises.
What it is ~~
6.4L HEMI V8 producing a factory 350kW and 637Nm, paired with the 8-speed Sports Auto. Mid-4s to 100 km/h and that unmistakable SRT growl. Limited slip diff, launch control, Track and Sport drive modes, Brembos all round.
I’ve used it for long highway drives and it’s held up beautifully. I’m letting it go because I need something more economical for daily driving. The car itself is sorted.

Priced to compete with the help of favourable exchange rates " and the fact it was based on a previous-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class "it was something of a hit. Sadly, after 15 years, the macho American (now Chrysler 300) has not really moved with the times. It's been overtaken both by evolution and changing market preferences. To some though, it's still hard to argue against the merits of the capacious interior, the bluff but balanced styling " and the SRT version's thundering 6.4-litre 350kW/637Nm V8 engine. The 210kW/340Nm 3.6-litre V6 version isn't bad either.
