The range includes 2.0-litre four-cylinder 135kW/290Nm sDrive20i (rear-drive) and all-AWD 140kW/400Nm xDrive 20d and 185kW/350Nm xDrive 30i, and six-cylinder 195kW/620Nm xDrive 30d and 265kW/500Nm M40i. Wheelbase, length and width are expanded, the cabin is bigger, weight has gone down (around 55kg) and aerodynamics improved. All X3s are fitted with autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian avoidance, BMW Driving Assistant with approach control, speed sign recognition, lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist. It's practical too, with a 550-litre boot, a total load capacity of 1600 litres and the ability to tow two tonnes.
