F44 218i M Sport Gran Coupe 4dr D-CT 7sp 1.5T BMW's 2 Series four-door Gran Coupe stems from the new front-drive/AWD 1 Series platform and fits, size-wise, between 1 Series and 3 Series. There are two powerplants: The base 103kW/220Nm three-cylinder 218i in the front-drive M Sport and a meaty 225kW/450Nm 2.0-litrfe turbo four in the AWD, go-fast M235i version. The latter gets a regular eight-speed auto, while the base three-cylinder has a seven-speed dual-clutch system. Because of the low and slinky roofline, the cabin is not as spacious up back as the 1 Series hatch but there's no shortage of luxury trimmings and the seats are big and comfortable.
