GE MY20 55 First Edition Wagon 5dr Reduction Gear 1sp quattro AC265kW Audi has embarked on its first full-electric car (EV) venture with the e-tron. The large SUV promises a 400km range and is capable of being fully charged in 30 minutes. The new Audi EV comes in regular wagon form, or as a more svelte Sportback with the choice of two electric motors powering all four wheels. The base 50 quattro offers solid power/torque figures of 230kW/540Nm while the powered-up 55 quattro produces 300kW/664Nm. The Audi e-tron is available with either 20 or 21-inch wheels and, over and above a whole raft of technological trickery, also adds matrix LED headlights and optional "virtual" rearview cameras that display images on in-cabin screens.
