PD2 MY19 Active Hatchback 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 2.0i Hyundai's i30 hatchback took a sizable leap in its third generation to issue a real challenge to the best Euro small cars " including Volkswagen's Golf. The i30 is available with a 120kW/203Nm 2.0-litre aspirated engine, a 150kW/265Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol, a 100kW/280Nm 1.6-litre turbo-diesel or the i30 N's assertive 202kW/353Nm 2.0-litre turbo. All are available with a six-speed manual, with the base 2.0-litre offering an optional six-speed auto, and petrol and diesel turbos a seven-speed dual-clutch auto. The i30 comes in Active, SR, Elite, Premium and sporting N form, with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert standard from SR upwards. Elite, Premium and N gain autonomous emergency braking.
