This Dodge Challenger Coupe is slick in performance and looks. Everyone I know agreed, this is a very good looking stylish car and it is a muscle car.
The design is that well done that even woman tell you when you are in the car or close to it how nice this car looks, as the stricking red colour is looking so shiny and bright when washed you can not overlook it.
I spent some extra money on the looks with adding a Ceramic coat from GTechnique- 2 x coates applied - 9 years warranty.
I can still show you the invoice for the ceramic coating, was done at th dealer in Adelaide.
I hav never washed the the paint with a sponge once in 5 years, I had this car delivered on the 5th of December 2020. The truck driver came from Campbellfield to Chelsea and 6 people yelled at him at the traffice lights: bring it to me.
I still like my Challenger a lot but I just wanted to change to another high performance car after 5 years ownership.
It should be pointed out that the car was always garaged in a basement garage, was not used for for short trips, only trips of min. 7 km or weekend trips like 20-75km in most cases in good weather conditions.
The car still feels like its new due to low kilometers used and always maintained well,
I will renwe the Vicroads registration in 10 Feb 2026 in case i stil own the car, it is full comprehensive insured with Shannons and of course was never ever involved in any accident, you treat the car like a raw egg, you wont have an accident.
I always said : this car is th 4 wehll version of an Harley Davisdon, and it feels like it at times. This car is the link from today to 1970, and that makes the Design so special and turning heads even of 6 year old boys onwards.
When you sit in this car you feel special, as alsow th enterior design is retro but on the other hand modern. This car could be named to be a contemporary car art design. You like the 70's but want to be alive in 2026 you will have this in this car.
It has most modern important car feature like Android Auto/ Apple Car play a 8.4inch screen, adaptive Cruise Control, GPS speed, when you are cruising at 84km/h it is well and truly 84km/h as it is GPS supported.
I have a phone holder, I leave in the car, that was close to hundred dollars, I also installed a cold air intake air filter for $780 at 20.000km, so it's kind of new. The front seats are heated and ventilated for summer.
You have a large sports button, which makes the exhaust louder and the engine revs are higher making it more repsonsive, when on the Freeway only you could get away on a level terrain with 8-9L per 100KM as it can run on on 4 cylinders only, you can turn this off either with being in sports mode or in Manual mode, Suburbs driven without pushing the car around 12L, city around 13-14L per 100km .
Manual mode is quite fun when you know how to use it, the car can be even more aggresivly fast. 0-100 Kph is around
5.5 secs. Fast enough to say its a sports coupe. Its not slow, trust me the 5.7L Hemi V8 is already fun to drive, AS you might know we have even models like the Hellcat with much more Horsepowers, But its oftne hard to get the power onto the ground especially when going from 0 to 60. Watch Racer X on you Youtube, he tested all versions for us. And then you wont feel so bad any more not having the Hellcat. The rest when you inspect the car. I like to show the car only to genuinly interested people and not to people who want to just see it, thats a waste of time for me.
