7.5 MY19 GTI Hatchback 5dr DSG 7sp 2.0T Today's Volkswagen Golf 7.5 came in 2017 as a refresh of the Golf 7 range introduced in 2013. It brought a sharpened-up front end with reworked headlights and a new rear bumper topped by LED tail lights in addition to new, larger wheels. Standard autonomous emergency braking, a driver fatigue detection system and new gesture-control screens on the dash helped to further refine a sophisticated package. The four-cylinder, all turbo-petrol engine lineup includes the regular hatchback's 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre, the 132kW/280Nm 1.8-litre used in the AWD Golf Alltrack crossover wagon, and two 2.0-litres: the hot-hatch GTI's 169kW/350Nm version and the range-topping, AWD Golf R's 213kW/380Nm powerhouse.
