S5 MY19 2.5i-S Wagon 5dr CVT 7sp AWD 606kg Subaru introduced a new, fifth-generation version of its mid-size Forester SUV in late 2018 that cut back the model range from nine to four variants " 2.5i, L, Premium and the top-spec S. There's just one powerplant: A heavily revised, aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder boxer engine producing more power at 136kW/239Nm yet offering better (7.4L/100km) fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions of 168g/km. All Foresters get active cruise control, blind-spot monitors, lane-change assist, steering-responsive LED headlights and rear cross traffic alert. The new Forester is bigger too, with increased passenger space and improved luggage capacity that begins at 422 litres and expands to a seats-folded 1768 litres.
