Overview
687S MY18 Saloon 4dr Auto 8sp 6.7TT The all-new, eighth-generation version of Rolls-Royce's flag-bearing Phantom came in late 2017 and lifted an already-refined large saloon to a new heights " technology, comfort, performance and, importantly, stateliness. Powered by a 6.7-litre version of the BMW-sourced V12 engine producing, with help of twin turbochargers, a mighty 420kW/900Nm (a bit more than "sufficient"), the Phantom uses new, exclusively Rolls-Royce aluminium spaceframe architecture and is offered in regular, or EWB long-wheelbase form. Double-glazed windows, 130kg of sound-deadening, laser-beam headlights, four-airbag suspension informed by a road-scanning system of upcoming road irregularities and four-wheel steering making it wieldier when parking, are just some of the Phantom VIII's features.
