Modern supercars don’t come more desirable than my immaculate McLaren 720S Performance, which looks magnificent in its optional ‘MSO Defined’ Ceramic Grey paintwork and Titanium-finished five twin-spoke forged alloy wheels. This astonishing car has been my passion and is therefore in remarkable condition – all servicing has been conducted by McLaren.
While bald figures don’t always reveal the true essence of a mid-engined supercar, in the case of my McLaren 720S Performance they do a pretty good job. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 bangs out 530kW and 770Nm. Top speed is 341km/h. Zero to 100km/h zaps past in a mere 2.9 seconds. The car’s steering precision is razor-edged and its body control – whether you’re driving flat out or just mooching along – is outstanding.
My McLaren 720S Performance is exceptionally well appointed and its list of standard and optional equipment includes:
Exterior Carbonfibre Packs 1, 2 and 3 – the lightweight material is used for the front lid intakes, rear engine air intake vents, door mirror casings, roof panel, front splitter, front air intake, lower rear bumper and outer B-pillar covering.
Sports exhaust.
Carbon-ceramic brake discs with optional red brake calipers.
Performance interior trim package including extensive use of carbonfibre, Dark Palladium visible body structure, Black Alcantara and Carmine Red Nappa leather upholstery, contrasting Carmine Red stitching, and Carbon Black leather and carbonfibre steering wheel.

MY18 Performance Coupe 2dr SSG 7sp 4.0TT The 720S is British hypercar-maker McLaren's latest offering within its Super Series lineup where it replaces the 650S with less weight and more power. The 527kW/770Nm 4.0-litre V8 enables the 720S to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in a staggeringly fast 2.9sec while it covers the standing quarter-mile dash in 10.3sec. Despite its track capabilities, the McLaren 720S is actually easy to drive in traffic with its good visibility, tractable engine, initially-light steering and smooth-operating driveline. The interior offers, in a meticulously-detailed way, the basics: Climate-control, sat-nav, Bluetooth and a solid sound system, while active LED headlights and a powered rear spoiler are also part of the deal.
