Next step down the ladder, the mid-range Si and SLi were replaced by a new (1.4-litre) Sport variant. At the other end of the lineup, the entry-level Kia Rio S with a 74kW/133Nm 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and six-speed manual or four-speed auto transmission continues to open the range.
