KL MY19 Longitude Wagon 5dr Spts Auto 9sp 4x4 3.2i Jeep facelifted its mid-size Cherokee in August 2018 with revised styling and significant safety revisions that include across-the-board autonomous emergency braking. Although it can be had in either front-drive or AWD form, the Cherokee makes capital out of its off-road inclinations. Two transverse engines are on offer: a base (front-drive) four-cylinder 130kW/229Nm 2.4-litre petrol engine or a smooth 200kW/315Nm 3.2-litre V6. The AWD is either on-demand or, on the off-road-ready Trailhawk, dual-range off-road capable. A nine-speed auto gearbox is universally standard. The Cherokee offers competitive cabin and luggage space, and leather, power seats and sat-nav are standard on the up-spec Limited and Trailhawk.
