PD2 MY18 Premium Hatchback 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 2.0i Hyundai's i30 hatchback took a sizable leap in its third generation to issue a real challenge to the best Euro small cars " including Volkswagen's Golf. The i30 is available with a 120kW/203Nm 2.0-litre aspirated engine, a 150kW/265Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol or a 100kW/280Nm 1.6-litre turbo-diesel. All are available as a six-speed manual, while the 2.0-litre offers an optional six-speed auto and the petrol and diesel turbos a seven-speed dual-clutch auto. The i30 comes in Active, SR, Elite and Premium form, with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert standard from SR upwards, and Elite and Premium coming with autonomous emergency braking.
