LY RT-S Wagon 5dr Man 5sp 2WD 1.6i Following a long absence from Australia, Suzuki reintroduced the Vitara SUV in 2015 to do battle in the Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V segment. Today's Vitara has no connection with the mid-size Grand Vitara and is very much a modern-day SUV with " even if on-demand 4WD is available at the upper end of the range " few off-road pretensions. Engines include an 84kw/156Nm 1.6-litre four-cylinder and a 103kW/220Nm 1.4-litre turbo and, although most versions use six-speed auto transmission, a five-speed manual is available in the base RT-S. As is the fashion at Suzuki, sat-nav makes a common appearance, in this case right from entry level.
