Available in three levels of trim and with the choice between two engines " a 129kW/235Nm 2.5-litre boxer four or a silky-smooth 191kW/350Nm 3.6-litre boxer six " the exclusively-CVT transmission Liberty offers as standard Subaru's EyeSight accident avoidance system, adaptive cruise control and dual-zone climate-control. Over the base 2.5i Liberty, the similarly-specified 2.5i Premium and six-cylinder 3.6R models add sat-nav, leather trim with powered and heated front seats, push-button start and LED headlights " but only the 3.6R gets the upmarket sound system with 12 harman kardon speakers.
