92A MY17 Diesel Platinum Edition Wagon 5dr Tiptronic 8sp 4x4 3.0DT Porsche introduced its first AWD SUV, the Cayenne, in 2003 and although the first cars were exclusively 4.5-litre V8s, the choices have grown to include petrol and diesel V8s and V6s " and even a 3.0-litre V6-based hybrid that averages 3.4L/100km. Regular V6s come as either a 193kW/580Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel or a 220kW/400Nm 3.6-litre petrol. Of course the V8 still rules with three versions; the 4.2-litre 283kW/850Nm turbo-diesel, and the 4.8-litre petrol 382kW/750Nm Turbo and 419kW/750Nm Turbo S. For a vehicle of its size and weight, the Cayenne does not let the side down in terms of handling and roadholding.
